Jeffrey L. Martin

OTTAWA – Jeffrey L. Martin, 72, of Ottawa, passed away at 6:45 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born January 5, 1954, in Lima to the late Paul and Martha (Gable) Martin.

He is survived by a brother-in-law, Chuck Cannode of Pandora; two nieces: Dana (Rod) Inbody and Katie (Eric) Deken, both of Pandora; a nephew, Jeff (Amanda) Cannode of Ottawa; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his three siblings: Dane Martin, Paula Cannode and Linda Martin.

Jeffrey retired from Consolidated Biscuit, McComb. He had also formerly worked for Philips, Ottawa. Jeffrey was a member of the Ottawa Eagles, enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2026, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Mike Dotty officiating. Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
