Jerry Eugene Keezer

PAULDING COUNTY – Jerry Eugene Keezer, 66, of Paulding County, died at 1:31 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at The Gardens of Paulding.  He was born November 9, 1956, in Defiance to the late Rex E. and Lucille (Theis) Keezer.  On May 1, 1976, he married Teresa Lee. She survives in Defiance.

Other survivors include two children: Brett (Amanda) Keezer of Appleton, WI and April Keezer of Oakwood; four grandchildren: Alex, Brianna, Rhees and Eli Keezer; three step-grandchildren: Tori, Kristan and Jason Fowle; two great-grandchildren: Langston and Lexus Keezer; and three siblings: Marie (Jared) Balbaugh of Oakwood, Nancy Keezer and Paul Keezer, both of Antwerp.

He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Keezer; and two siblings: Dennis Keezer and Judy Huberts.

Jerry retired from Johns Manville, Defiance.  He loved to hunt and fish.

A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood with Pastor Pat Holt officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
