JoAnn M. Ehrman

PAULDING – JoAnn M. Ehrman, 87, of Paulding, formerly of Oakwood passed away at 11:38 p.m., Friday March 31, 2023 at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She was born June 30, 1935 in Defiance to the late Paul and Helen (Bleeks) Kimberly.  On November 3, 1961, she married Phillip R. Ehrman, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2020.

Survivors include three children: Becky (Les) Brooke of Defiance, Tina Smalley of Paulding and Robin (Mark) Gonzales of Paulding; eight grandchildren: Heather (Mark) Gable, Ashley (Drey Gamble) Gonzales, Lindsay (Dustin) Tobias, Katie (Kenny Boyd) Brooke, Staci (Justin) Braid, Jamie (Jesse Moreno) Jackson, Jared Smalley and Megan (Andrew) Hanenkratt; 16 great grandchildren: Lucy, Quinn, Reid Gable, Teegan and Mia Cameron, Emerson Gamble, Bella Bolster, Presley Tobias, Korah and Crew Hanenkratt, Parker and Laylah Bermejo, Hadley Jackson, Braylen Moreno, Emma and Liam Braid; 2 brothers: Tom "Spike" Kimberly in Texas, Paul "Slug" (Denise) Kimberly of Defiance; 1 brother-in-law: Terry Flory of Jewell.

She was also preceded in death by 1 brother: David "Butch" (Shag) Kimberly; and 2 sisters: Jackie (Richard) Zachrich and Patty Flory.

JoAnn was a homemaker, and she loved bowling, spending time with her friends and family and especially her best friend, Ioma McCague.

A graveside service for JoAnn, officiated by Deb Miller, will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Sherman Cemetery, Charloe.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood.
