John Edward Lutz, Jr.

BLUFFTON - John Edward Lutz, Jr, 79, of Bluffton (formerly of Kingsville) died 11:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Willow Ridge, Bluffton.  He was born February 22, 1938 in Wirt County, WV to the late John E. and Lottie (Campbell) Lutz, Sr.  On September 24, 1960, he married Joyce Jackson and she survives in Bluffton.  The couple recently celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Other survivors include two daughters: Linda (Nick) Kaczmarek of Midland, MI and Janice (Ken) Schriner of Ottawa; seven grandchildren: Elizabeth, Nicholas and John Kaczmarek, and Rebecca, Sara, Jacob and Jessica Schriner; three sisters: Marjorie Monk of Streetsboro, Mary (Jim) Molnar of Garrettsville and Lou Lutz of Warren; a brother, Joe (Mary) Lutz of Windham; and a sister-in-law, Curly Lutz of Windham.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Lutz and David Lutz; and a brother-in-law, Walter Monk.

John retired in 1998 from Millennium Inorganic Chemicals as an Engineering Technologist.  He was a US Air Force Veteran.  John loved to fish, hunt and play golf and attended Bluffton Baptist Church, Bluffton.

A Celebration of Life service will begin 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Bluffton Baptist Church, 345 County Line Rd, Bluffton, OH 45817, with Pastor Steve Pilarsh officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Windham Township Cemetery, Windham.
