John N. Staley

LEIPSIC – John N. Staley, 65, of Leipsic, (formerly of Alveda, Ohio) passed away at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born January 18, 1960, in Fostoria to the late Norman and Helen (Rohe) Staley.

He is survived by a sister, Mary (William) Sherman of Ottawa who devotedly cared for her brother his entire life.  A special thank you to all of his caretakers "Miss's" at Kandu and ISS.

John was lovingly known throughout Leipsic as the "Can Man" happily helping to recycle all the cans he could find while riding his three-wheel tricycle.  He also loved going out to eat.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at LOVE HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.  Burial will be at a later date in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.
