Joseph Andrew Beckman

Ottawa -- Joseph Andrew Beckman, 64, of Ottawa died 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Bridge Hospice Center, Findlay.  He was born September 25, 1951 in Lima to the late Edwin and Alice (Niese) Beckman.

Joe is survived by his children:  Stacy (Roy) Klass of Glandorf, Ryan (Kelly) Beckman of Findlay, and Nick (Jennifer) Beckman of McComb; 7 grandchildren;  and 4 sisters:  Madonna (Jerry) Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Bernadette Bockrath of Glandorf, Marguerite (Dan) Chamberlin of Continental, and Joan Kreinbrink of Leipsic.  He is preceded in death by a granddaughter: Cassidy Klass and a sister:  Mary Jane Beckman.

He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and was a carpenter.  He was a social member of the Ottawa V.F.W.  Joe was an avid outdoorsman, he loved canoeing, fishing and camping.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Rick Friebel officiating.  Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where a scripture service will be held at 7:50 p.m.
