JOSEPH P. BODEN
OTTAWA - Joseph P. Boden, 61, of Ottawa, died 10:26 a.m. January 25, 2013 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center in Glandorf.  He was born November 3, 1951 in Berkeley Springs, WV to Paul and Pauline (Clingerman) Boden.  His father is deceased.  His mother survives in Ottawa.  On November 13, 1972, he married Kathy Harman and she survives in Ottawa.
Other survivors include his children: Scott Boden of Lima, Jeff (Ethel) Boden of W Virginia and Michele (Dwayne) Newell of Ottawa; 4 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Randy Boden of Gilboa, Jim Boden of Gilboa and Jerry (Leslie) Boden of Deshler; and 2 sisters: Deb (Tom) Schroeder of Leipsic and Betty (Chris) Dicke of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by an infant son and a grandson, Trey Tyler.
Mr. Boden retired after 32 years at Philips of Ottawa.  He was a member of the Ottawa Eagles, Leipsic Rod and Gun and a social member of the Ottawa VFW and New Bavaria VFW.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, Ohio.
