Joyce E. Jones

LEIPSIC - Joyce E. Jones, 72, of Leipsic died at 9:37 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. She was born June 3, 1943, in Marion Township, to the late Howard T. and Florence G. (Latta) Jones.

Joyce is survived by 4 brothers: Ken (Phyllis) Jones of Deshler, Marvin (Eileen) Jones of Findlay, Gary (Josephine) Jones of Leipsic, and Jeff (Jan) Jones of Ottawa; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Kathleen Jones and Dorothy Jones, and 2 brothers: Paul and Jim Jones.

Joyce was a childcare provider, a former Ladies Aide, and a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and baking. Joyce was very social and enjoyed her time at The Meadows of Ottawa.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev.Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The Meadows of Ottawa Activities Department or to the Putnam County Council on Aging.
