Juan R. Gutierrez

OTTAWA-Juan R. Gutierrez, 54, of Ottawa died at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born January 31, 1966 in Weslaco, TX to Juan S. and Lorenza (Rodriquez) Gutierrez, his mother survives in Ottawa.

Juan is survived by seven children: Juan R. Gutierrez Jr., Laura Alma Marie (Mark) Pedroza, Ruby L. (Noe) Lopez, Tony (Melissa) Gutierrez, Marco Rocha, Aaron M. Gutierrez, and Mary E. (Adrian) Sanchez; twenty-five grandchildren; siblings: Ernest Gutierrez, Margarita (Jeremy) Olivarez, Angie (Danny) Abrego, Ericka (Jaime) Perez, JoLynn (Omar) Hernandez, and Vanessa (Cory) Gutierrez.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan S. Gutierrez; and two grandchildren, Rayden Gutierrez and Anthony Micah Pedroza.

Juan was a truck driver for Helms Excavation, Findlay.  He was a God fearing man, and a Warrior for Christ, and he always tried to reach other people. Juan was the best grandpa in the world.  He was always humble and made time for others, he wanted them to feel they were being heard.  Juan truly had a heart of gold.

Matthew 25:21, "His master said to him: Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys."

John 17:4, "I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given me to do."

A private service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Seeking Ministries, New Cleveland, Ohio.
