Juanita H. "Cookie" Nieto
Ottawa - Juanita H. "Cookie" Nieto, Ottawa, died 5:10 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Meadows of Putnam Acres, Ottawa.  She was born October 16, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Cesario and Juanita (Garcia) Hernandez.  Her  step-father, Andres Rodriguez also precedes her in death.  She married Jesus Jesse Nieto, Sr. and he died December 22, 2011.
She is survived by her five children: Jesus "Tito" (Ronni) Nieto, Jr. II of Napoleon; Robert L. Nieto of Colorado; Paul (Tammy) Nieto, Delphos; Dianna May (David) Williams of Ottawa and Anna M. Moreno of San Antonia, Texas;  14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Richard Rivera of Columbus; Mike Rodriguez and Rick  Rodriguez both of Michigan; three sisters: Rachel Cervantes of Leipsic; Estella Baldazo of Ottawa and Susie Carreno of California and a brother-in-law: Reyes Garcia, Sr. of Ottawa.  She is preceded in death by a son, Jesus Nieto Jr. I; a daughter: Isabel Nieto; a brother: Arthur Rodriguez and two sisters: Minerva "Minnie" Garcia and Maggie Rivera.
Juanita was a licensed cosmetologist,  retired from Filling Home in Napoleon.  She had also worked for Liberty Corner and Clip-n-Curl in Leipsic.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and was an Eucharistic minister.  She enjoyed reading, drinking caffeine free Diet Pepsi  and baking.  Her favorite saying was "Be Good".
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Monday, August 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.  The Very Reverend Father George Wenzinger will officiate.  Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church.  There will be a Rosary Service 10:30 a.m. Monday at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nieto Family, the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
