JUANITA J. SULLIVAN

Vero Beach, FL – Juanita J. Sullivan, 85, died Friday March 11, 2016 at Indian River Estates, Vero Beach FL.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1930, in Continental, Ohio, the daughter of Overton and Martha (Morris) Mayes.  She was a graduate of Continental High School. On November 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Loyal Sullivan. He died February 4, 1996. She was a long time employee of the Zeller Corporation, Defiance Ohio and Paradise Oaks Nursing Center, Cloverdale Ohio. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Continental Ohio and Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach FL. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and watching NASCAR.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Larry (Cathy) Sullivan of Defiance, Ohio; and Gregory Sullivan of Sebastian, FL; a daughter, Jacquelyn Nuttall of Vero Beach, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Carmen Bodenburg, Charity Sullivan, Jennie Lamberty, Gregory Sullivan Jr, Hanna Nuttall and Taylor Nuttall; 2 great grandchildren, Evelyn Lamberty and Lillian Lamberty; sister, Mildred (Al) Weddle of Albuquerque, NM.

She was preceded in death by her husband Loyal Sullivan; her parents Overton and Martha Mayes; a brother, Howard Mayes; nephew, Kim Skiver.

Funeral services for Juanita will be Monday, March 21 at 10:00 AM at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, Ohio, officiated by Rev. Rick Jensen. Visitation will  be on Saturday, March 19 from 4-6 PM  and Sunday, March 20 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Burial will be in North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental OH.
