Juanita E. Wheeler

CONTINENTAL – Juanita E. Wheeler, 86, of Continental, died at 4:20 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born April 28, 1937 to the late Pat and Rita Martin.  On May 16, 1970, she married Fred Wheeler, who preceded her in death on December 19, 2003.

Juanita is survived by a niece, Betty Wheeler.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Marvin Martin, Delbert Martin and Bill Martin; and a sister, Grace McGlaughlin.

Juanita was a homemaker who loved sewing and making quilts. She was a member of the Archbold Quilting Club and Dupont Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services will begin 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
