Judi A. Bellman

OTTAWA – Judi A. Bellman, 70, of Ottawa died at 11:38 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus. She was born February 22, 1951 in Defiance to the late Bernard and Edith (Kleman) Eiden. On June 12, 1970, she married Michael Bellman who survives in Ottawa.

Judi is survived by her children: Nikki Fortman of Ottawa, Rachel (Chad) Buddelmeyer of Ottawa, Nathan (Veronica) Bellman of Ottawa and Ryan (Ashley) Bellman of New Jersey; ten grandchildren: Camryn Fortman, Braden Fortman, Alexa Fortman, Brody Fortman, Bronson Buddelmeyer, Jaxon Buddelmeyer, Walker Buddelmeyer, Marly Buddelmeyer, Gage Bellman and Beau Bellman; brothers and sister: Richard Eiden of New Bavaria, Conni Lehhart of Wisconsin, Kevin (Pat) Eiden of Ottawa, Keith (Mary Jo) Eiden of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Larry Eiden.

Judi was a graduate of Miller City High School. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She babysat and touched the lives of many children. She also volunteered at school, her church and the County Call Center during the COVID crisis. Since 1989, she was an EMT for the Ottawa EMS.  In 2017, Judi retired from the Putnam County Office of Public Safety.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer and Father Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Mass will be live-streamed through the church's Facebook page. Due to regulations regarding COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, masks are required upon entering the church and/or funeral home.
