Judith M. "Judy" Ellerbrock

LEIPSIC -  Judith M. "Judy" Ellerbrock died 11:20 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born March 26, 1947, in Lima to the late James and Wilma (Recker) Hohenbrink.  On April 8, 1967, she married Dennis Ellerbrock, who survives in Leipsic.

Also surviving is a son:  Troy (Dana) Ellerbrock of Leipsic; 2 grandsons:  Elijah and Ethan Ellerbrock; a sister:  Terri (Jerry) Niese of Glandorf; a brother:  John (Kim) Hohenbrink of Allen, TX and a sister-in-law:  Cheryl Hohenbrink of Leipsic.

Judy is preceded in death by a brother:  Tony Hohenbrink and 2 sisters:  Betty Hook and Sharon Rex.

Judy was a beautician for 50 years and had worked at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and was a member of the C. L. of C.  She was a proud graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and participated in the Ohio State Youth Choir while in high school.  She went on to graduate from the Ohio State Beauty Academy, Lima.

She was an auxiliary member of the Leipsic American Legion and was a member of the Leipsic Eagles.  She enjoyed playing cards, especially Pinochle.

Judy was a proud and doting grandmother to her two grandsons.  She adored them both and loved spending time with them and playing cards together.  She never missed a ball game and could always be found cheering them on from the third baseline.

The funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Father Randy Giesige officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  There will be a scripture service at 7:45 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
