Judith D. Knowles

CONTINENTAL – Judith D. Knowles, 74, of Continental, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born April 24, 1952, in Toledo to the late Frank and Anna (Dienes) Hornyak.

Survivors include two children: Tammy (Eric) Steinmetz of Toledo and K.C. (Carlie) Knowles of Continental; five grandchildren: Jordan Knowles-Bartley, Zachary (Dair) Steinmetz, Kelsie Steinmetz, Reese Knowles and Parker Knowles; a great-grandchild: Maya Grace Knowles; and four siblings: Francis (Michael) Hornyak of Toledo, Sharon Devine, Kenneth Hornyak of SC and Ronald Hornyak of Toledo.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a twin brother, Jeff Hornyak.

Judith retired from Cooper Farms Hatchery, Oakwood. After retirement, she worked for Continental American Legion and Clubhouse Pizza. Judith loved her dogs, enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
