Rev. Judith K. Parker
LEIPSIC - Rev. Judith K. Parker, 66, of Leipsic died at 11:20 A.M.  Saturday, February 8, 2014 at her residence.  She was born July 6, 1947 in Lima to Darel and Betty (Collier) Parker. Her father is deceased, her mother survives in Leipsic. Also surviving is her special friend: Kari Mickle; a brother Richard "Rick" (Bobbi) Parker of Ottawa and 2 nephews: Evan Parker, Tristan Parker.  She was preceded in death also by a nephew: Matt Parker.
Rev. Parker was the Co-Director and Co-Founder of Pastoral Ministries in Leipsic. She formerly served as  pastor at Kossuth & Walnut Grove United Methodist Churches. She was the founder of Sunbeam Pre-school in Leipsic.  Judi graduated from Findlay College and the Methodist Theological School of Ohio, Delaware. She was a life member of Kappa Phi-Sigma Kappa. Also a member of Leipsic Chamber of Commerce; chairman of Leipsic's Sesquicentennial;  Scout Leader for Pack 225 & Troop 225 and recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, Order of the Arrow and Wolf Badge.
A celebration a life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic facilitated by Eric Heineman.  Burial will follow at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
