Junior G. Combs
LEIPSIC – Junior G. Combs, 86, died at 9:45 a.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at The Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born  April 10, 1927,in Leipsic  to the late Elmer and Lilly (Leatherman) Combs. On April 30, 1949, he married Mary Ann Jennings, who died March 23, 2009.
Junior is survived by his daughter: Kyle Wortkoetter of Lima; a son: Wade Combs of Leipsic; 4 grandchildren: James Wagner, Clint Wagner, Michael Wagner, Rock (Michele) Wagner; 2 great-grandchildren: Morghan Wagner, Tristan Wagner; and a brother: George (Georgine) Combs of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his brothers: William Combs, Merle Combs, Glen Combs, Lowell Combs; and a sister: Lesta "Ola" Leip.
Junior retired from Philips after 37 years.  He was a WWII veteran of the Army-Air Corps. He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church; Leipsic American Legion and Quarter Century Club.  He was an avid Leipsic Vikings fan, did not care what sport as long as it was a Viking sport.
Funeral service will begin  11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, with Pastor Bill Patterson officiating.   Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, West Leipsic. with military honors by the Leipsic American Legion and VFW.
