Karen D. Aller

COLUMBUS GROVE - Karen D. Aller, 56, of Columbus Grove, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1959 in Lima to Thomas and Mary Margaret (Maas) Bockrath. Her father is deceased, her mother survives in Beaverdam. On April 27, 2002 she married Michael Aller who survives in Columbus Grove.

Also surviving are two children: Ryan (Jennifer) Bockrath and Erica (Benjamin) Gerten both of Lima; three stepchildren: Brian (Jamie) Fleck-Aller of West Leipsic, Jessica Aller and Kenneth Aller both of Bluffton; six grandchildren: Rosanna and Cassady Bockrath, Aubrey, Katie, Ethan, and Natalie Gerten; four step grandchildren: Cheyanne Fleck-Aller, Zane and Lane Aller, Bailey Aller; three brothers: Larry (Janet) Bockrath of Ottawa, Allan (Kathy) Bockrath of St. Mary's, KS, and Joseph Bockrath of Glandorf; three sisters: Shirley (William) Mayberry of Columbus Grove, Brenda (Dennis) Closson of Ottawa, and Mary Kris (Charles) Warnimont of Glandorf; a brother-in-law: Dave Schumacker of Kalida; and a sister-in-law: Karen Bockrath of Naples, FL. She was also preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Bockrath and a sister: Barbara Schumacker.

Karen was a crane operator and union member for thirty years for Local 18, Toledo. She was also a  member of Columbus Grove 2772 Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed berry picking, gardening and riding ATV'S.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
