Katherine Ann Hunter

OTTAWA – Katherine Ann Hunter, 79, of Ottawa died 5:45 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born February 11, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Samuel and Helen (Roberts) Thompson. On March 2, 1958 she married Milton Edward Hunter who died February 13, 2007.

She is survived by four children, Kathleen Ellen (Kurt) Stinson of Ottawa, Melody Renee (James) McAllister of Glendon, PA, Helen (Charles) Workman of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Graceann Cease of Ottawa; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Melody Elias of Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Lee Hunter; a brother, George Thompson; and a grandson, Matthew Caswell.

Katherine was a manufacturing supervisor. She attended New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa and was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges in Hackettstown, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa with Pastor Ken Pollitz officiating. Memorials may be made to The Meadows of Ottawa.
