Kathryn A. "Kitty" Ross
OTTAWA - Kathryn A. "Kitty" Ross, 66, of Ottawa died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Inpatient Care Center of Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born February 28, 1949 in Newark, OH to the late Charles E. and Mary L. (Williams) Hannum.
She is survived by 3 children: Rich (Anita) Ross of Ottawa, Kristina (Douglas) Trenkamp of Van Buren, and Stephanie (Chris Niehaus) Ross of Peoria, IL.;  5 grandchildren: Jordan Trenkamp, Avery Ross, Sean Trenkamp, Ross Trenkamp, W. Ryan Ross; a sister: Frances (Gregg) Ferguson of Sanford, MI.; her significant other: Steve Weis of Ottawa; an uncle: Rollin (Charlene) Hannum of Newark; 2 nephews: Kris and Geoff Ferguson; and maternal cousins: Pat (Bill) Weaver, Claudia (Bob) Weaver, and David (Kim) Williams all of Newark. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Adam Trenkamp.
Kitty was a clerical assistant for Putnam County Job and Family Services. She got her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 1980, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Bridge Hospice of Findlay.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus, or to Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
