Kay F. Altenburger

BELLEFONTAINE – Kay F. Altenburger, 83, of Bellefontaine (formerly of Ottoville), passed away 12:15 a.m., Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Ohio Hospice of Central Ohio, Columbus. She was born May 13, 1942, in Ottoville to the late Harold and Evelyn (Keifer) Altenburger.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Jim Altenburger, Keith Altenburger, Barry Altenburger, Susan Waltke and Bonita Michael; and her Aunt Bonnie Jordan.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with Very Reverend George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
