Kenneth J. Vorst
Kalida - Kenneth J. Vorst, 69, died 4:55 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at The Meadows of  Putnam Acres, Ottawa.  He was born September 4, 1943 in Ft. Jennings to the late August and Mary C. (Gerdeman) Vorst.
He is survived by a brother: Charles (Diane) Vorst of Kalida and a sister: Rose (Arnold) Siebeneck of Kalida; two sisters-in-law: Irma Meyer and Wilma Vorst both of  Ft. Jennings; 9 nieces and 14 nephews.   Kenneth is also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Richard Vorst.
Kenneth was a retired farmer.  He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida and a member of the Holy Name Society.   He was an veteran of the Army.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida, with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating.  Burial will follow in church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME,  Jackson Township, where there will be a scripture service at 5:00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donors choice.
