Kevin D. Forney

FINDLAY – Kevin D. Forney, 59 of Findlay, formerly of Leipsic, died 12:43 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  He was born April 3, 1956, in Bluffton, to Charles and Bernice (Gorrell) Forney.  His father is deceased.  His mother, now Bernice Myers, survives in Findlay.

Other survivors include a sister: Jill (Don) Diller of Leipsic; sister-in-law: Vicki (Steve) Meyer of Leipsic; step-sister: Diane (Tom) Harmon of Findlay; step-brother: Rodney Myers of Columbus; eight nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and two special friends: Tina and Tammy.

He was also preceded in death by a brother: Steve Forney and a nephew.

Kevin worked for Whirlpool in Findlay for over 35 years.  He was a member of McComb Church of Christ and loved needlework, going to Waffle House for coffee and being at the park.  He was a true friend to all and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Center Cemetery, Leipsic with Rev. Rick Broughton officiating.  Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.  Memorial donations may be made to McComb Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice.
