Kimberly Ann Redman
OTTAWA – Kimberly Ann Redman, 56, of Ottawa, passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born February 25, 1970, in Lima to the late Michael and Angela (Hurst) Maag. On September 17, 1994, she married Ken Redman, he survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving is a daughter: Elsa (Jake Sweet) Redman; siblings: Paul Maag and Amanda Iannotta, both of Glandorf.
Kim was an angel on earth. The type of soul that fills your heart with warmth and joy. She was passionate about babies, animals and just about anything that fills you with awe. She fought and loved viciously for the people she loved most in her life. Her favorite places to be were the beach and at home with her family. Kim loved to laugh, she loved Hallmark movies, loved to shop, and loved to talk about the beauties and mysteries of life. She was incredibly smart, determined and independent. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband of over 30 years, the kind of partner who rides with you through the highest and lowest valleys of life. She held her role with such pride and love. She was the kind of mother people dream of having. She listened to every thought, dream, concern, worry and hope with an open heart and encouraging voice. She was so looking forward to meeting her grandbaby, and although she won’t hold them in her arms physically, she will be ever present in their life as the fiercest guardian angel.
Kim started working at the courthouse in 2003. She became the Putnam County Clerk of Courts in 2018. She served as the President of Putnam County Optimist Club, Treasurer and member of Putnam County Republican Party Central Committee and throughout served with integrity and determination.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Ottawa VFW.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
