Kory K. Flores
OTTAWA – Kory K. Flores, 14, of Ottawa died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 27, 1997 in Lima to Gerard and Aracelia (Salazar) Flores and they survive in Ottawa. Also surviving are 3 sisters: Scout, Abagail and Sofia all at home; a half-brother: Isiaha Warner and a half-sister: Monica Torres both of Toledo; grandparents: Arcaro Flores, Sr. of Lima and Baudelio and Gloria Salazar of Baytown, TX. She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Sofia Flores.
Kory was an 8th grader at Ottawa Elementary School where she was on the Basketball and Track teams; a member of Student Council and on the year book staff. She was also a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and 2 to 8 pm Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
