CONTINENTAL - Lanny C. Wagner, 65, of Continental died 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born April 6, 1948 in Defiance to the late Oren V. and Mildred (Halbgewoks) Wagner.
Survivors include his four children: Jody Camareno of Glandorf, Heather (Arthur Lewis) Butler of Cloverdale, Scotty Wagner of Continental, and Casey Wagner of Temperance, MI; nine grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews; and 10 brothers and sisters: Edwin (Margaret) Wagner of Continental, Oren (Ilah) Wagner of Wabash, IN, Herbert (Renate) Wagner of Defiance, Kenneth (Joyce) Wagner of Continental, Vivian (Kevin) Rettig of Defiance, Janet Molitor of Lewisburg, Sandra Zink of Miamisburg, Sharon Wagner of Defiance, Judy (Howard) Ingelston of Benzonia, MI, and Pamela (Robert) Everett of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Raymond Wagner; a sister: Helen Wagner; two brothers-in-law: Neil Zink and Clarence Molitor; and a nephew.
Lanny retired from Hyway Trucking Company where he was a truck driver for 40 years.  He was Sons Commander for American Legion Post 541 in Continental.  He loved to bowl at Ottawa Highland Lanes.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Brent Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
