Laura J. Sproul

CONTINENTAL – Laura J. Sproul, 96, of Continental, passed away at 9:10 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.  She was born March 2, 1927, in Toledo to the late Lloyd and Muriel (Smith) Wing.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne Tuttobene of Defiance; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Laura is also preceded in death by her two children: Mike Morris and Jeanne Sproul; and a brother, Mike Wing.

Laura retired from Consolidated Biscuit, McComb. She also worked as a greeter at Walmart in Defiance. Laura loved to shop and read.

Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Eileen Kochensparger officiating.  Burial will follow at North Mt. Zion Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
