Lauren Mae Schneeg
GLANDORF - Lauren Mae Schneeg, 24, of Glandorf, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Toledo. She was born on January 22, 1998 in Lima to Michael and Mary Beth (Otto) Schneeg, who survive in Glandorf.
Other survivors include four siblings: Katelyn (Austin) Markward of Ottoville, Lindsey Schneeg, Matthew Schneeg and Kristy Schneeg, all at home; maternal grandparents: Eugene and JoAnn Otto of Ottawa; an uncle, John (Sandy) Schneeg of Buckeye, AZ; four aunts: Jane (Brent) Kosch of Glandorf, Kay (Mark) Bidlack of Ottawa, Kara (Brian) Balash and Kellie (Scott) Birkemeier, both of Glandorf; and 19 cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Oscar and Helen Schneeg; and an uncle, Tim Schneeg.
Lauren was a 2016 graduate of Ottawa Glandorf High School. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Toledo earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She worked as a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee and previously worked at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was caring and supportive to all of her patients. Lauren was taking classes, while working full time, to pursue her degree as a nurse practitioner.
Lauren was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf where she taught Sunday School while in junior high and high school. She was known for her ability to light up any room with her goofy jokes. She loved spending time with her family, playing games and hanging out with her friends. She was kind, intelligent, fun-spirited, adventurous and lived life to the fullest. Lauren was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin and friend.
Funeral mass will begin 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a scripture service at 1:45 p.m.
