LaVilla J. Barnhart
CLOVERDALE – LaVilla J. Barnhart, 76, of Cloverdale went to her Heavenly resting place 2:52 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 28, 1936 in Toledo to the late Orville and Lela (Spencer) McLaughlin. On June 2, 1956 she married the love of her life, Leroy Barnhart who survives in Cloverdale.
Also surviving are 4 children: Don (Marcia) Barnhart of Cloverdale, Brenda (Jack) Beach of Cloverdale, Rebecca (David) George of West Jefferson, and Barbara (Jeff Bolenbaugh) Wilson of Ft. Jennings; 11 grandchildren: Kristin Barnhart, Justin (Melissa) Barnhart, Austin (Bethany) Barnhart, Tim Beach, Jeff Beach, Catherine Wilson, Olivia Wilson, Rex Wilson, Brayden Wilson, William George, and Spencer George; 3 great-grandchildren: Mason Beach, Halle Beach, and Gage Bennett; and a sister-in-law: Grace McLaughlin of Cloverdale.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Kenneth and Orville, Jr. "Mike"; and a sister: Karen McLaughlin.
LaVilla retired from Burger King, formerly of Ottawa. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Cloverdale. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dearly loved her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with Fr. John Stites officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where there will be a scripture service at 2:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice or to St. Barbara Catholic Church.
