Len E. Meyer

LEIPSIC – Len E. Meyer, 81, of Leipsic, passed away on October 15, 2026, with loved ones by his side at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born in 1944, to the late Alfred and Sarah Meyer.

Len is survived by a son, Kirk (Alicia) Meyer; two grandsons; four siblings: Janice (Chuck) Herhold, Leon (Helen) Meyer, Phyllis (Larry) Unger and Lois Fecteau.

Len was a veteran of the Air National Guard of Ohio and the United States Air Force Reserves. He retired as a journeyman electrician for IBEW and GM.

Len was known for his handyman skills and generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need of help with a repair or project. He especially enjoyed tinkering with machines and restoring lawn mowers. He cherished the time spent with his son, grandsons, family and friends. Whether enjoying a glass of lemonade, playing cards, or watching Ohio State football. Len found happiness in the company of those he loved.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. Luncheon will be held afterward in St. Nicholas’ parish hall.
