Lida Chloe Payne
Ottawa – Lida Chloe Payne, 97, of Ottawa died at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born June 13, 1915 in Putnam County to the late Wesley and Mary (Taylor) Neuenschwander. She married Harvey K. Phillips and he died October 6, 1972. She married Charles Payne, Jr. and he died in October of 2004. Surviving is a son: Larry Phillips of Ottawa; 4 stepchildren: Jerry Payne of McComb, Jim Payne of Findlay, Bill Payne of Florida and Karen Schmitt of Findlay; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death also by a son: Paul Phillips; a stepson: Lance Larson; 5 sisters: Lolita, Creda, Juanita, Iva and Wanda and a brother: Harry.
Chloe retired from Rusco in Pandora. She was a member of Gilboa United Methodist
Church. Burial will be at a later date.
