Linda A. Acklin

OTTAWA - Linda A. Acklin, 76, of Ottawa, formerly of Cleveland, passed away at 11:58 a.m. on August 2, 2024, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born February 23, 1948, in Cleveland to Lester E. and Dorothy (Ladegaard) Kolthoff.

She is survived by two daughters: Lisa Ann Briere and Kimberly Wallace; six grandchildren; and two siblings: Thomas Kolthoff and Steven Kolthoff.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Linda moved to Ottawa in 2017 and dedicated her life to working at Goodwill, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. Outside of work, she had a passion for showing collies and miniature horses, a hobby that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

Linda will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and passion will be remembered fondly by everyone whose lives she touched.
