LOIS MAE HOYT
OTTAWA - Lois Mae Hoyt, 74, of Ottawa, died 6:07 a.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Hilty Memorial Home in Pandora.  She was born September 9, 1940 in Bowling Green to the late Charles and Gennell (Tyrrell) Carpenter.  On October 21, 1967, she married Ronald Hoyt and he survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are 4 children: Lynn (Donna) Hoyt of Leipsic, Greg (Deb) Hoyt of Ottawa, Melissa (Shane) Ellerbrock of Leipsic and Kendra (Scott) Kuhlman of Ottawa; 8 grandchildren: Kayla and Zachary Hoyt, Jerrod Cass, Alisha Hoyt, Breanna and Caleb Ellerbrock and Will and Aiden Kuhlman; a great-grandson: Xavier Hoyt; 6 siblings: Carol (Dick) Klotz of Lakeland, FL, Gary ( Diane) Carpenter of Bowling Green, Sharon (Bob) Walker of Maumee, John (Darlene) Carpenter of Weston, Roger (Linda) Carpenter of Bowling Green and LuAnn (Jim) DeMond of Bowling Green; and a brother-in-law: Tom (Bonnie) Newby of Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Melva Newby and an infant sister.
Lois babysat for many children over the years and was known for her superb sewing abilities.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson and attending any event in which they were participating.  Lois graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1958 and had previously worked for G.C. Murphy's in Bowling Green.  She was a member of the Ottawa Eagles and Ottawa Senior Citizens.
Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.  Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
