Lola Hacker

CONTINENTAL - Lola Hacker, 79, of Continental passed away at 1:38 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born May 22, 1946, in Van Lear, KY to the late Ben and Jessie (Collins) Howard.  On August 14, 1962, she married Leo Hacker, he preceded her in death on February 11, 2010.

Lola is survived by four children:  Lyndon (Marcia) Hacker of Findlay, Leona "Sis" (Dave) Stauffer, Leo Hacker, Jr., and Loretta (Chad) Olds, all of Continental; nine grandchildren: Tyler, Derek, Courtney, Dalton, Caleb, Wyatt, Peyton, and Riley; eight great-grandchildren: Zoey, Nate, Lovelynn, Adaline, Shiloh, Whitley, Emma and Korbin; one great-great grandchild; three step-grandchildren: Eric, Stacy and Jody; three siblings: Donna DeSota of Continental, Jerry Howard of Oakwood, and Kay Howard of Melrose.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Fenter; a grandson, Jordan; and siblings, Offuet Howard, Goldie Howard, Dorothy Booth, Doug Collins, Linda Worline, Geneva Dennison, Charles Howard, Truman Howard, Darce Howard, Edward Howard, Albert Howard and Jewell Howard.

Lola was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Ayersville.  She was well known for her huge heart and making sure everyone around her was well fed, not only with food, but with love and kindness.  If you were fortunate enough to have had her "hillbilly" biscuit and peanut butter fudge, you were blessed.

Funeral Service with be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, with Reverend Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
