Lonnie G. Lambert

PAULDING – Lonnie G. Lambert, 74, of Paulding, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his residence.  He was born December 8, 1948, in West Hamlin, WV to the late Elbert and Sylvia (Adkins) Lambert.  On December 24, 1968, he married Carol Mullins, who survives in Paulding.

Lonnie is also survived by four children: Rick (Kim) Lambert of Centerville, TN., Phil (Missy) Lambert of Grover Hill, Paul (Billie) Lambert and Angel Lambert, both of Paulding; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers: Don (Shirley) Lambert of Oakwood, Dan (Terri) Lambert of Kettering, and Ken (Becky) Lambert of Defiance.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Lonnie retired from General Motors, Defiance.  He was also a full-time minister at the Church of Christ at Oakwood.  Lonnie enjoyed ministry and teaching.  He loved fishing.  Lonnie was a member of the Local UAW, Defiance.

Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Church of Christ at Oakwood.  The family will receive visitors Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
