Lucille Mary Maag

LEIPSIC -- Lucille Mary Maag, 88, of Leipsic died 12:20 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born May 26, 1930 in Greensburg Township to the late Lawrence and Anna (Schierloh) Bockrath.  On May 7, 1952 she married Robert E. Maag.  He preceded her in death on December 3, 2010.

Lucille is survived by 8 children:  Judy (Alvin) Riepenhoff of Glandorf, Duane (Connie) Maag of Leipsic, Dennis (Cindy) Maag of Leipsic, Sharon (Steve) Koch of Columbus Grove, Kevin (Katy) Maag of Leipsic, Louann (Jeff) Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Connie (Jeff) Pohlman of Ottawa and Marvin (Susan) Maag of Leipsic; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother:  Norbert (Jane) Bockrath of Greensburg Township and a brother-in-law:  Don Stechschulte of Glandorf.

She is preceded in death by a sister:  Ruth Ann Stechschulte.

Lucille was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and a member of its Altar Rosary Society.  She enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father William A. Pifher officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and again on Monday at church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.  There will be a rosary service at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
