Lucille A. Ricker

LEIPSIC – Lucille A. Ricker, 85 of Leipsic, died 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at The Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born June 23, 1930 in Lima to the late August and Emma (Palte) Kleman.  On September 3, 1955, she married Melvin F, Ricker.  He died August 31, 2006.

Survivors include three children: Duane (Geri Lynn) Ricker of Glandorf, James (Cindy) Ricker of New Cleveland and Patricia (James) Kroeger of Leipsic; six grandchildren; two sisters: Marilyn "Mick" Kohls of Columbus Grove and Julie (Gordon) DePree of West Olive, MI; and two sisters-in-law: Helen Kleman of Columbus Grove and Dorothy Kleman of Ottawa.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Walter Kleman and Wilfred Kleman; two sisters: Velma (Sylvester John) Diemer and Alice (Elmo) Miller; and a brother-in-law: Virgil Kohls.

Lucille was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Altar Rosary Society.  She enjoyed baking, camp fires, Bingo and loved spending time with her six grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. William Pifher officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic as well as one hour prior to the mass Friday at the church Parish Life Center.  A rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday evening.  Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
