Lucy Louise Laughlin

OTTAWA – Lucy Louise Laughlin, 90, of Ottawa, died 9:04 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her daughter's residence. She was born February 12, 1932 in Milton, VT to the late Michael and Ardelle (Fortin) Sanderson.  On September 24, 1949, she married Walter Laughlin, who preceded her in death on May 18, 1990.

Survivors include three children: Bryan (Sandy) Laughlin of Rush, NY, Dennis (Tina) Laughlin of St. Albans, VT and Linda Laughlin of Ottawa; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, she was especially close to Kira, Carter, Gauge and Silas; and a sister, Norma Mayer of Perry, GA.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Darrell Laughlin; five sisters and two brothers.

Lucy retired from Van Dyne Crotty, Delphos and volunteered for several years at the Putnam County Thrift Store, Ottawa.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings and the Ottawa VFW Auxiliary.

Graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ft. Jennings.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
