Luella F. Karhoff KALIDA – Luella F. Karhoff, 89, of Kalida, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at The Meadows of Kalida, where she resided for the last 4 ½ years. She was born February 26, 1935 to the late Marcella D. "Sally" Karhoff. She is survived by 30 cousins and extended family. Luella had a fiercely independent spirit and was very proud to have lived alone for nine years following her mother's death in spite of her disability. She enjoyed playing cards and loved her family immensely. The family would like to give a special thank you to her neighbors in Kalida, as well as The Meadows of Kalida staff for being so good to her. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday prior to the Mass at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
