Lynne I. Vorst KALIDA – Lynne I. Vorst, 71, of Kalida, died 10:33 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Mercy Health Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf, after a 5 month battle with cancer.  She was born September 4, 1953, in Sandusky, OH to the late Howard and Virginia (McDole) Rosebrook.  On October 11, 1975, she married Daniel Vorst, who survives. Also surviving are two children:  Amber (Buck) Rosengarten of Ottawa and Kyle (Lyssa) Vorst of Kalida 5 grandchildren:  Brystol, Jayda and Tegan Rosengarten and Barrett and Hendrix Vorst; a brother:  Myron (Rene Mihalic) Rosebrook of Sandusky; an aunt:  Von McDole of Toledo; and several cousins. Lynne was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida and retired from Brookhill Industries, Ottawa where she had been a job coach.  She loved spending time with her family and being involved in her grandkids lives. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, prior to the Mass at the church.
