Marcella "Sally" Steiner
OTTAWA – Marcella "Sally" Steiner, 80, of Ottawa, died at 8:43 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 5, 1932 in Ottawa to the late Carl F. and Mildred M. (Blockberger) Lause. On December 22, 1954, she married Robert L. Steiner. He died July 5, 2000.
Surviving are 2 brothers: Ivan (Cathy) Lause and Robert (Midge) Lause both of Ottawa and a sister: Kathleen (Eugene) Rayle of Ottawa; nieces and nephews: Becky (Robert) Oliver, Dennis (Deb) Kuhlman, Sherry (Ron) Kaufman, Steve (Cindy) Kuhlman, Ron (Brenda) Kuhlman and Dale (Barb) Lause. She was preceded in death also by a brother: Edward Lause; a brother-in-law: Donald Kuhlman and a sister-in-law: Eileen Lause.
Sally retired in 1991 after 40 years from the office of Borgelt and Thomas, formerly JR Borgelt Lumber and Ready-mix. She was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ottawa and also attended St. Peter's Church in Naples, FL where she and her husband wintered for nine years. She was a 1951 graduate of Sts. Peter & Paul High School.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or St. Jude Children Hospital.
