Marcella E. "Sally" Stechschulte Rose
OTTAWA - Marcella E. "Sally" Stechschulte Rose, 91, of Ottawa died at 10:06 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay. She was born May 9, 1922 in Ottawa to the late Frank and Catherine (Kottenbrock) Fenbert. On September 23, 1943 she married Richard Stechschulte who died February 7, 1989. On April 20, 1996 she married Norman Rose who died November 4, 2003.
She is survived by 4 children: Richard Stechschulte of Ottawa, Alan (Jill) Stechschulte of Wauseon, Linda (Mike) Grubb of Leipsic, and Jeanne Robbins of Naples, FL.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Helen Burkhart of Hollywood, FL.; and a son-in-law: Richard Maenle of Indian Lake. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Janet Maenle; 6 brothers: Bernard, Frank, John, Albert, Carl, and Lawrence Fenbert; and 2 sisters: Lucille Heitmeyer and Adeline Utendorf.
Sally was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of St. John the Baptist, Glandorf Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Ottawa VFW and Eagles Auxiliaries.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a VFW service at 7:15 p.m. and a CLC rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
