Marcia MacDonald CECIL - Marcia MacDonald, 81, of Cecil, passed away at 4:54 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born August 23, 1943 to the late Mary Huston.  She married Verlin Eblin, who preceded her in death. On August 15, 2010, she married Thomas MacDonald, who survives in Cecil. Other survivors include six children: Yvonne Rhoads of Melrose, Kelly Elston of Middle Point, Kevin (Becky) Eblin of Oakwood, Rachel (Mark) Rethmel of Oakwood, Angie Eblin of Hicksville and Jamie (Dan) Ordway of Defiance; a stepdaughter, Jenny MacDonald; 28 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by two children: Chris Johnson and Keith Eblin; and three grandchildren. Marcia was a homemaker and attended Dupont Church of the Brethren and United Methodist Church in Forest. She enjoyed canning, fishing, mowing the yard and riding with Tom in the semi. Marcia loved her family and her dog, Nova. Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
