IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Gail
(Brown) Fellers
May 11, 1939 – October 31, 2020
Margaret Gail Fellers, the Matriarch
Oakwood – Margaret Gail Fellers, 81 of Oakwood, left this earth on October 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born on May 11, 1939 in Jackson, MI to the late Earl and Gail (Curtis) Brown. She was sister to Sherry Adkins of Oklahoma and Jonnie Torbert of Oklahoma. On February 16, 1958 she married Harold Fellers. He preceded her in death.
Her legacy begins with their children, Steve (Sandy) McNeely of Oakwood, Jeff (Shelly) Fellers of Adrian, MI., Aaron (Cindy) Fellers of Oakwood, Karen (Bud) Cohan of Oakwood, Cindy Fellers (deceased), Lori (Jack) Lassiter of Oakwood, Shawn (Angie) Fellers of Swanton, Stephanie Fellers (deceased), Holly Fellers (deceased), and Patty Wampler of Oklahoma City, OK. She was grandmother to Shannon, Carissa, Jennifer, Misty, Sam, Ryan, Adam, Justin, Brittany, Chase, Bowen, and Caycee. Great-grandmother to Colton, Chelby, Alexia, Gage, Brayden, Trinity, Carson, Jonah, Blane, Asher, Adam, Cadence, and Mya, and great-great grandmother to Daelyn.
She was also preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Harold; a son, Aaron; 3 daughters, Cindy, Stephanie and Holly; a grandson, Adam and her sister, Sherry.
She worked 50- years in manufacturing, 8 years at New Castle Gaming Center and 6 years as a care giver for Home Health Care.
Margaret loved family get togethers, cooking huge meals for her family and anyone that didn't have family for the holidays. She would invite them to her home and it didn't matter if they were a stranger or not, she would always welcome them with open arms, not wanting to see anyone go hungry. She enjoyed auctions, playing bingo, traveling, reading, going to the casinos, and playing cards, especially euchre and canasta.
Margaret had a fondness for 4 special cats, Baby Girl, Nikki, Bella and Tom, but any animal whether it be a dog, cat, raccoon, possum, or even a skunk…she would feed them. All they had to do was show up at her door.
She was a huge Trump Supporter "Keep America Great" and loved to watch and argue politics with any and all.
She insisted on no funeral because she didn't want any tears shed, but instead wanted a "Celebration of Life" gathering with her family to remember the good times she had with all.
The Matriarch will be sadly missed.
Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood where online condolence can be expressed at: www.heitmeyerfuneralhome.com.
