Margaret M. Keeterle

OAKWOOD – Margaret M. Keeterle, 73, of Paulding, passed away at 1:16 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Promedica Defiance Hospital.  She was born August 18, 1950, in Paulding to the late Russell and Virginia (Yenser) Doster.  She married Jim Keeterle, he preceded her in death in 1996.

Margaret is survived by four children: Clyde Keeterle, Mary Jo Ply, Tammy Elliot, and Patty Owens; three grandchildren:  Justin, Daniel, and Robert Keeterle; two sisters: Caroline Snavely, Cathy Golliver; and a brother: Charles Doster.

She is also preceded in death by a son: Richard Keeterle; and two brothers: Gayle Doster and Clyde Doster.

Margaret was a member of RAW (Returning American Warriors) and a fierce advocate for veterans and wounded warriors.  She was a former boy scout leader for many years.  Margaret worked at Friendly's Restaurant, Defiance for 20 plus years.

Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at HEITEMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.  Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood.  A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
