Margaret Mary Rosenbauer

OTTAWA - Margaret Mary Rosenbauer, 89, of Ottawa died at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born November 2, 1927 in Kalida to the late William and Margaret (Tenwalde) Honigfort. On August 25, 1948 she married Vincent H. Rosenbauer who died August 4, 1995.

She is survived by two sons, John Rosenbauer and Thomas "Duffer" (Kristie Heitmeyer) Rosenbauer both of Ottawa; two grandsons, Christopher Rosenbauer of Ottawa and Brad (Jessica) Rosenbauer of Continental; four great-grandchildren, Desirae Okuly, Zack Okuly, Danielle Rosenbauer and Tyler Rosenbauer; a sister, Ruth Hermiller of Kalida; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Honigfort of Lima. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Hank, Bob, and Tony Honigfort; and two sisters, Mary Ann McElwain and Louise Ellerbrock.

Margaret retired from Philips Display Components August 30, 1991 after 25 years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Ottawa American Legion Auxiliary and the Philips Quarter Century Club. Margaret was an avid bingo player.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where an American Legion Auxiliary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and a scripture service at 7:50 p.m.
