Margaret M. Kaufman

OTTAWA - Margaret M. Kaufman, 83, of Ottawa died 6:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born April 21, 1937 in Lucas County to the late Aaron and Cecilia (Bihn) Hornstein.  On November 26, 1966 she married Ralph S. Kaufman, he preceded her in death on October 15, 2012.

Margaret is survived by her children: Linda (Brad) Bebout of Delaware, Eric Kaufman of Columbus, and Andy (Teresa) Kaufman of South Elgin, IL; four grandchildren;  four sisters: Sue Droll of Ottawa, Ginny Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Monica Carpenter and  Florence Seiler, both of Toledo; and one brother: Tony Hornstein of Oregon.

She is preceded in death by three brothers: Mike, Norbert and Ted Hornstein.

Funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Kent Kaufman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In keeping with the social distancing guidelines, a visitation will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
