Margaret "Margie" Moreno

Ottawa – Margaret "Margie" Moreno, 54, of Ottawa, died 9:20 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1961 in Lima to Apolonio and Lupe (Lara) Moreno, her mother survives in Ottawa and her father is deceased. Her fiancé Charlie Reed survives in Ottawa.

She is also survived by two sons: Jacob Piper and Jordan Piper both of Ottawa; four grandchildren: Luciano A. Piper, Jayla Piper, Joel A. Piper, Eric I. Bustos; six siblings: Beatrice (Terry) Schroeder of Ottawa, Ester Moreno of Lima, Carmen Moreno of Spokane, WA, Martin Moreno of Lima, Edward Moreno of Ottawa, Apolonio Jr. (Kathryn) Moreno of McComb. She was preceded in death by a brother: Paul Moreno.

Margie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, she especially enjoyed cooking for them and going shopping. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She will also be dearly missed by her dog: Capone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m.
