MARGIE E. WAGNER
FORMERLY OF CLOVERDALE – Margie E. Wagner, 88, formerly of Cloverdale, began her new life in Heaven on Friday, August 7, 2015 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and cancer at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on April 20, 1927, in Decatur, IN to the late John M. and Susan (Gravott) Springer. On October 19, 1946, she married Paul Wagner. He died September 27, 1993.
Survivors include 4 children: Brenda (Phillip) Kern of Continental, Deb Wagner of Columbus Grove, Kevin (Sue) Wagner of Continental, and Robert (Denise) Wagner of Waterville; a son-in-law: Richard Beemer of Cloverdale; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter: Paula Beemer; 2 sisters: Virginia Gephart and Bessie Springer; 3 brothers: Calvin Springer, Homer Springer and Leo Springer; and 7 half siblings.
Margie was a member of Free Christian Church of God, Continental. She was a retiree of Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon. Margie most recently was living in Waterville and was a former resident of the Ottawa Retirement Village.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Free Christian Church of God, Continental with Rev. James Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Hospice of NW Ohio or Free Christian Church of God.
