Maria Barraza
Ottawa – Maria Barraza, 89, of Ottawa died 3:48 a.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born January 6, 1923 in Mexico to the late Epigmenio and Catalina (Dominguez) Moreno. She married Pascual S. Barraza. He died March 31, 1983.
She is survived by 5 children: Graciano (Micaela) Barraza of San Luis Potosi, Mexico,
Leonard (Linda) Barraza of Ottawa, Pascual Barraza of Ottawa, Armando (Lisa) Barraza of Ottawa and Jane Rodriguez of Ottawa; 2 stepsons: Estevan Barraza of East Chicago, IL and Vincente Barraza of FL; a stepdaughter: Seferina Barraza of Monterrey, NL, Mexico; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Maria de la luz Moreno Dominguez of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is also preceded in death by a son: Robert Barraza: and a daughter: Maria Guadalupe Barraza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Matt Jozefiak. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
